Though I must Admit, It seems like a game I would enjoy, the fact that it crashes essentialy whenever you press a button prevents me from reciving any enjoyment from it. I would not reccomend this, simply because of the all too likely outcome of regular emulator freezes. Unless I find a Workaround this review will Remain Negitave. I first played this game 20 years ago on the old Amga system It was Great then The transfer to pc and steam version has lost nothingThis was a Giant in its time its still Dam good nowIf you Like maps and amies you will like this. Yes its a bit dated and the graphics show that, but the gameplay and startagy are as good as ever.. One of my favourite games when I was a kid. And now it's still awesome. 10\/10.. It is still the game that so many identify with in their childhood. Turn based strategy with both economic and military management, but not too much of either. You can just enjoy the game in such a simple way. Personally I hated LOTR2 for becoming more complicated, LOTR1 was always my prefered one of the franchise.If they made an updated version of this with a smoother interface but didn't touch the actual game play I would hapilly pay \u00a310 for it instead of the \u00a31.50 I just paid for this.. Lords of the realm is wanna the completely forgotten series after impression games stop in 2004, Somehow i still enjoyed this and this was one of my first strategy games i even played, Is a classic and a normal strategy game series that was forgotten. Is a worthy game if you like real-time strategy games.. Got this as part of the weekend sale bundle. Very cheap. Was interesting to see how the game evolved from version to version. The graphics got fancier and the simulation simpler. I kind of like complex games, so I enjoyed the first one the most. Had fun poking around to see how it worked. Didn't play for that long; but I don't expect much from an old game I paid a dollar for. A fine expense\/entertainment ratio. If, like me, you hadn't noticed this series before and like the genre, its worth a buck.
